After the September updates, October came with a new area and letters that can do more.
New area: tradespeople and renovations
It covers defects in completed work and disputes over the price or extra work. In the guide, choose Tradespeople / Renovations (Řemeslníci / Rekonstrukce).
In preparation: parcels and used cars
On the category selection you will find the tiles Shipments (Zásilky) and Used car (Ojeté auto). You cannot create a letter in them yet; we will launch them once they are ready.
Videos: how Legamik works
The How it works (Jak to funguje) page has seven short videos that walk you through the whole process step by step (Czech only for now).
E-shop suggester
In the Subscription / Shop (Předplatné / Obchod) category, start typing the shop name and the guide will suggest known shops.
Unordered goods and services
"I did not order anything and now they want me to pay." For this situation Legamik has its own process, even for goods you did not order and that never even arrived.
What the letters can do now
- More precise letters for returns of goods, defect claims and deadlines, for a subscription to a digital service that does not work as it should, and for deadlines in energy.
- A trader from another EU country. The letter can also point you to the European Consumer Centre (Evropské spotřebitelské centrum).
- A paid letter relies more consistently on the provisions that the free assessment of your case relied on.
- A complaint about bus transport goes to the right authority.
- The email with the letter has a subject based on the topic in every category.
- A uniform letter font. The preview and the PDF use the same serif font.
Legamik is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. In complex disputes, we recommend consulting a lawyer.
